About Us

The Anambra State Women Association of Southern California (A.S.W.A.S.C.) is a nonprofit organization of women bound by a shared heritage and a common purpose: to uplift one another and give back to our communities both in the United States and in Anambra State, Nigeria.

Founded by a small group of dedicated women, our association has grown into a vibrant sisterhood that celebrates culture, supports education and healthcare initiatives, and provides a strong network for professional and personal growth.

Through annual conventions, cultural events, fundraising galas, and outreach programs, A.S.W.A.S.C. continues to honor its founding mission: to inspire and empower women and children while preserving the rich traditions of Anambra State.
